World Book Night with Pippa Goldschmidt  Saturday 23 April | 2.30pm   Aberdeen Central Library Celebrate World Book Night and discover something new at this free talk by writer and astronomer Pippa Goldschmidt. Pippa’s first novel The Falling Sky was a finalist in the Dundee International Book Prize in 2012 and her work has featured in international publications including the New York Times. Pippa previously worked as an astronomer before discovering her passion for writing and is an editor of I Am Because You Are, an anthology of short stories and essays celebrating the recent 100th Anniversary of Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity. Find out more about Pippa’s varied works and explore the links between science and fiction at this free event on World Book Night. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and copies of her books will be available to purchase.
